I am writing this News letter in a heat wave - 40º C!  Malta is very hot this summer, but the heat did not stop the Full Gospel Praise Centres from working very hard for the Lord.  We had baptisms, in May, June and on the neighbouring island of Gozo in July.  Every month, praise God, the Lord added new brothers and sisters to the Full Gospel Praise Centres.  Services on Sunday mornings are packed.  The Lord is adding young couples and elderly couples to our fellowship.  The bookshop is turned into a Bible study every Wednesday, where Brother Richard is doing a study about the end times and many are being blessed by his teachings.  On Mondays we have prayer meetings and then we show a Christian film on DVD.  The Lord is providing enough funds to buy an eight seater van for the church which we are using for the church and to transport people that do not have a vehicle.  This van is a blessing.  We are looking forward to the Lord providing for a bigger bus to fulfil our vision of collecting Maltese elderly from elderly homes to bring them to church.

God blesses those who are obedient to His Word

We serve a mighty God who blesses those who are obedient to His Word.  Our faithful God added to the FGPCs people with singing talents and every week we have someone to give a special song to bless us and God the Father.  Jeffrey, our worship leader, is very happy with what the Lord is doing with our talents and he is looking forward to involving and teaching all those who would like to join him in the worship team.  Of course the Devil is very angry by what he is seeing happening in the FGPCs and he is doing his very best to divide and distract from the visions, dreams and the goals the Lord set for us to reach and fulfil.  He is using his ministers and his false prophets.  Well, the angrier he is, the happier we are.  We pray on a daily basis for the wisdom of God and we also pray how to use His wisdom to continue to be His ambassadors and peace makers.  We believed God for His providence and His answers have been a testimony and a good example to many who are watching what is going on in the FGPCs.  We are blessed by Divine healings, restoration, new jobs available and people from different nations saved. What a testimony!!

Jesus Christ is exalted in the FGPCs.

We teach and preach, not only, not to compromise the Word of God but also how not to compromise the Word of God.  We tell people to walk in obedience to God and we teach how to walk in obedience to God.

One Sunday evening service a wife brought her husband's filthy tapes to us to destroy and it was a pleasure for me to jump with all my might several times on them until I destroyed them all in front of the congregation.  Pornography is destroying many Christian homes, but is not going to stop the FGPCs from preaching against it and teaching how to be delivered from this evil current attack on Christian homes.  It is not only the husband who is under this attack but also wives.  I believe there will be more filthy tapes and pornographic material brought to us to destroy instantly in front of everybody in the church.  We are determined to continue praying and attacking the Devil's foundations, not his banners.  Until the Lord's return we will continue to preach the Good News that there is a way to heaven, and The Answer to today's problems is only Jesus Christ.

Draw near to God

In James 4:8 we read "draw near to God and He will draw near to you".  What a wonderful promise!: the more I draw near to Him (I have to take the first step), he is faithful, He will draw near to you and me.  Can you imagine?  The God of the entire universe and the Creator of all beings draws near you when you believe in His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ.  Try to draw near the President or prime minister of your country; you will be stopped by his, her body guards.  OH!  What a mighty God we serve!  He is faithful and desires reverence: Psalm 89:5-8 "And the heavens will praise Your wonders, O LORD; Your faithfulness also in the assembly of the saints.  For who in the heavens can be compared to the LORD?  
Who among the sons of the mighty can be likened to the LORD?  God is greatly to be feared in the assembly of the saints, And to be held in reverence by all those around Him.  O LORD God of hosts, Who is mighty like You, O LORD?  Your faithfulness also surrounds You."

Our Future is shaped by the God of Love.

We are preparing to start schooling again late September.  The headmistress and her teachers performed wonderfully and we are waiting upon the Lord for another year to train students from age three to upper secondary.  The ACE system is a blessing from God and we thank God for pastor Abe and Sister Olga, the founders of the ACA in Malta.  The goal for the ACA Malta and the FGPCs is to reach the parents of the students with the Word of God, to let them know that the Holy Spirit is the one who imparts joy, peace and hope for their lives.  Romans15:13.

Word of encouragement and word of wisdom: God is love (1 John 4:8), then no one belonging to Him, needs to worry about the future.  He will be at work shaping our future for our good.

Thanksgiving

I want to thank God for all those who are serving in the FGPCs in different areas and ministries:  the setting up of the church,  Praise and Worship,  Book table,  the book shop,  Sunday school,  the ACA,  the treasurer,  those who care for the needy in the church and do something about it, etc., and  those who are praying for my wife, for the TeaM and me.

The TeaM that prays together stays together and take godly decisions together.  "Unity in Prayer is the most wonderful tool in the Christian tool chest", I read somewhere and it is true.

Conclusion

Beloved, I am a bit late with the News Letter this quarter, but we are experiencing so many good things from the Lord Almighty.  He is surprising us every day.  The enemy attacks are constant, but the hand of God that guides us and protects us is evident.

Psalm 75:9-10  But I will declare forever, I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.  "All the horns of the wicked I will also cut off, But the horns of the righteous shall be exalted."

Psalm 89:24  "But My faithfulness and My mercy shall be with him, And in My name his horn shall be exalted."

We wish you all the Joy of the Lord in the Future.  Remember: Jesus Christ holds your future in His hands.  Trust Him!
